Great show! I wanted to thank all the folks at American Leather and Matt and Michelle at Pepper Berry for making the spring High Point Market such a great show. It was about time because as we all know things have been dismal at best. Please enjoy the short video and thanks for checking out the site. Don’t forget to ask us about the color combination of our hot metallic shag, it’s still selling!

It’s been an exciting tread into 2010. With the help of some amazing talent in the design community, we brought new energy to our product line. We met our friends at Pepperberry in New York for the Architectural Digest Home Design Show. We’re working on new colors, exploring new possibilities in silk, and shooting new videos at some of our favorite showrooms in Los Angeles. Ahead of us, we’ve got the High Point Show, and we’re really looking forward to it. Outfitting both American Leather and Pepperberry’s showroom floors, Creative Accents will showcase selections from both our contemporary and shag lines. Best of all, Rick Lee, a designer and major contributor to our contemporary line, will be there on behalf of both American Leather and Creative Accents. It’ll be great showing along side him. So it’s going to be a good show, and if you have a plane ticket to spare and nowhere to be on April 17th-22nd, come out to High Point in North Carolina. We’ll be at #IH501, and we’d really love to see you there.

I Love NY

I Love New York. It is truly a magical city. Our Creative Accents family was truly honored to be selected to show at MAD – Museum of Arts and Design. My wife Katie and I attended the event that took place on August 17. We were selected because of our relationship to rick lee and the new fall collection that he designed for Creative Accents. The rug that was selected was the papillion that was featured in colors - sunflower,steel,orange and pacific. This was a press event set up by the Las Vegas Furniture Market as a forerunner to the September market. Some of the press that attended were Instyle, The New York Times, Metropolitan Home, House Beautiful, Luxe Interiors + Design, Elle Decor, Rachael Ray, Veranda and O Magazine.

Rick’s Fall collection will be featured next at the High Point Market in the Directional/Carter showroom 525 N Wrenn St. High Point NC 27262.

If you plan on attending NY, I have a few suggestions. The Empire Hotel was very reasonable and was one block from Central park and walking distance to MAD. The best coffee in New York that I have found is a little Swedish espresso bar called Fika, also close to central park. Lastly, my wife got a great haircut at Cutler in Midtown East. If you’re going check them out.
